Ohio energy users – business or residential – served by an investor-owned electric or gas company (not co-ops or community owned) can choose to buy their gas or electric from a supplier other than the utility that delivers the energy.
Begin saving with a new energy contract using this website.
You will need:
- A recent invoice from your utility
- Make certain that you are not under contract to another supplier
- The utility invoice will show the name of the supplying company
- IF it shows that you are currently in a contract, you can call the supplier to find the end date of that contract
- IF you sign a contract with a new supplier while you are still under contract period, you will be billed the amount in the termination clause of that agreement
- Once you have the invoice click on the button below and follow the instructions to look for a new energy supplier
